日本製はどこ？ Where’s “Made in Japan”?
今、来月中国である友達の結婚式のためのプレゼント探しをしてるんですが、結構難しいです。
アジアでは日本と言えば日本製の電化製品が人気と聞いた事があったのですが、家電は高いし重いので不可。
免税が利く銀座の博品館には結構中国人観光客（もしかしたら台湾人、香港人かも知れませんが）の方達も多いんで、玩具系で攻めようかとネットでいろいろチェックしてみたんですが…。日本製の商品がなかなか見つかりません:(！
手ごろな値段で「あ、いいな」と思う癒し系人気商品なんか見ると、大概中国製。それじゃあと、流行の服をと考えても中国製。ホームセンターで便利グッズを見つけても中国製。中国の友人にMade in Chinaだよと突っ込み入りそう。…どぉしましょう？
We will go to a wedding for our friends who live in China and I’m looking for a present for them. But… it’s really hard.
I’ve ever heard that Japanese electric stuff is really popular among Asian people, but for us it’s dificult to give electric household appliances because they are expensive and heavy to carry.
As I saw many Chinese tourists (perhaps they are taiwanese) at Hakuhinkan which is a famous toy store in Ginza. So I was thinking to give some electric toys and checking them on the net. But… I hardly couldn’t find toys that are made in Japan:(!
Once I found good items which are popular in Japan, most of them are made in China. So I tried to find latest clothes in Japan, of cource they are also made by Chinese. And when I find convinience items at DIY stores like THE WAREHOUSE in NZ, they are also made in China… I can’t give a present that is made in China for them. mmm…what should I do?
